The Nikon D700 in India
Updated: Oct 22, 2018
The D700 is now 10 years old in 2018. Can you imagine that? For a digital SLR camera, that is ancient. If it were a human it would be 100 years old. After 70k shots on our particular unit, it is still relevant, producing wonderful colour drenched photos. An absolutely rugged, dependable camera that will take on whatever life throws at it. Will not lose out to young timers and more advanced cameras anytime soon.
The good news is, that you can now pick this camera up here for a mere fraction of its value compared to what we paid 10 years ago.
This won't be a technical review where you see brick walls and numbers and shit. Shown here are will only be actual photos produced by the once mighty "flagship"camera that uses the same sensor as the D3.
All photos shot in colourful India with a Nikon D700 with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art Prime lens. Wonderful yet simple combination perfect for travelling.
One of the finest lenses that i have had the chance to use. It's sharp yet creamy bokeh makes almost everything look good. Mundane things take on a new perspective after seeing it through the lens.
Various mounts available for different camera systems, so you have no excuses to to get your hands on one! Check out this link for a special offer!
A wonderful and chaotic mass of humanity, smells and assault on the senses. India is a surprisingly pleasant yet exotic destination for those who are slightly more adventurous.
Look out for the next post in the future that is shot entirely on even more "ancient" analog technology!
